In my opinion the most two important decisions to make is the color and whether you want them to be real or fake flowers. From there, everything untangles itself slowly. Whether you are doing it yourself or you are hiring a florist, when it comes to your wedding decor make sure that you contribute to every single little detail. After all, no one knows what your heart desire and your budget more than yourself. My only advice if you’re hiring a florist is to leave the decor and flower purchasing decisions for her/him.

By answering her questions, I stopped thinking traditional and started thinking about what I really want. And of course the end results were fabulous.

For those who are not thinking of using flowers for their wedding decor, you should consider candles, or even feathers. These days brides are filling their vases with almost everything. Jelly beans, rocks, pebbles, water, oil, it is no longer just flowers. There are many advantages when disregarding the idea of flowers for your wedding. First you will save yourself a lot of money. Second, fresh flowers need to be assembled on the same day, so that they stay fresh, making it almost impossible for you to make it yourself. Lastly, your wedding decor could be kept at the end as a keepsake or you could even move it into your house as part of your house decor.
