Music and dance is another element of your wedding that could project you and your husband on your special day. Music will present your guest with entertainment, social interacting and of course dancing. Dance will allow your friends and families to express their happiness and feelings towards this special day.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music

Do you know your wedding music? Have you decided on whether you want a Band, DJ, or a Ceremony Musician? Music is an important element of your big day. The last time I checked, there were over 1200 wedding songs, and 10 categories with their own subcategories. Now that's a lot of wedding music to choose from! Take note that just like every other aspect of your big day, wedding music should be rehearsed before the big performance.

As well as putting the wedding together, wedding music provides a background vibe for the guests. Based on the atmosphere you desire, your music could project the pace and energy in which you want your night to proceed. Moreover, your wedding ceremony and reception music could be used to divide the order of the events. You could use different music starting from the tradition of seating the mothers and fathers, followed by the entrance of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and of course the grand entrance of the bride and groom. Then there are the many different events of the reception such as speeches, dancing, eating and cutting the cake. All of these events should be conveyed by their own particular unique pieces. Remember to choose these pieces beforehand and work in conjunction with the person hired to perform it.

Wedding Dance

After the royal speeches, the bride and groom start their very first wedding dance as husband and wife. The bridal waltz is usually danced on a very romantic song that the couple relates to. It could be a song that they danced on when they first met, one that tells their story, or simply one that is recent and popular among the guests. Such examples of poplar wedding singers are Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Elton Jones, James, Dean Martin and my favorite Diana Krall. With the wedding dance, there is a current trend of adding a slideshow of photos or video presenting the bride and groom's journey together, how they grew up, how they met, and their wedding preparations.
